I'm surprised with all the negative feedback.

IND's i3 and i8 look great and exemplify what IND is all about, letting each owner individualize his car to match his personality.

Stock isn't for everybody for those who want the best in aftermarket IND has done an outstanding job!

Lol I'm pretty surprised of the negative feedback also, I think both cars were tastefully done and basically showed what IND can do for these two special BMW's. Looks are totally subjective, but I think you guys did pretty good!

It is not easy making the i3 look cool, by far the best yet I have seen. It is cute and rad at the same time. The rims help out big time, and I am not a blue fan. I know the wheels are thinner for aerodynamics but I still prefer way more rubber on the road. The i8 rims are way better then stock. Make them in black and I would like them even more. I'm a BBS guy regards to quality and simplistic design.

The mods may exemplify what IND is all about. The mods don't exemplify what the i3 and the i8 are all about.

These are changes for the sake of changes. Nothing more. And the looks aren't improved. Nor is the usability. And we have no idea what has happened to the dynamics.

If it ain't broke there's going to be some negativity.

I love the iLectric blue on the i3 wheels! I wonder how that would have turned out on the i8. That color really is stunning. Great work on both cars and keep up the great work!

The cars look fantastic.

I especially like that i3, it looks great lowered and those Blue wheels are off the hook.

Nice expression !

And at the end of the day you buy an i8 because its sexy not because its environmentally clean (as much as you might tell your neighbors otherwise)

As for the mods, the i8 looks amazing, the i3 looks ok. IND is showing that they are one of the most tasteful aftermarket offerings out there

As they say, any feedback is good feedback. I like the look of the i3, the wheels seem to work well with the theme of the car.
And once again, it's terrific to see there are modification options available for i3/i8 owners.

Seriously my friend, did somebody insult your mother this morning?

Listen, I get it, not everyone likes modifications. Much of the changes made on this forum aren't to my taste. But if you don't like it, move on. How about a polite "doesn't do anything for me" if you really feel the need to comment?

Instead we get a board sponsor questioned if they are allowed to advertise, some safety nanny nonsense rant, and a ridiculous comment about being posers?

Seriously, just move on.

Doesn't do anything for me...

But I do have to say I have no issue with advertising, but it should be in a separate section. I can fear that soon all we will have is posts of "look at these cool things you can buy."

Improved looks is subjective as we all know...

I applaud IND for taking a stab at bringing a personalization offering to the market for this niche segment. Why you think this is some egregious affront is beyond me but everyone is going to have an opinion.

I'd encourage IND to to continue to push offerings into the market and applaud them for taking a crack at the bat with the "I" offerings.

Fear not.

There are many board sponsors, and they are all very well behaved. Venture out into other parts of the forum and you will see that the advertising posts are contained to designated subthreads, except for posts like these which are completed cars.

Lol these replies have been great...

If you don't like what someone has done to a car, that's fine. You're entitled to your own opinion. But trying to tell them what they're doing is wrong when it is 100% a SUBJECTIVE matter is just ridiculous. If they want to mod their i8 and give it a personalized look, let them do it. Why do you care so much?

I personally enjoy both the i8 and i3. Would I lower my i3 if I had one as a daily driver? Maybe not, but more power to you.

IND has done amazing job with the i cars and encourage them to continue. We are all enthusiasts but I yet to find the perfect BMW that reflect my style and personalization. That's why I modify my cars. If anyone remembers I used to own a heavily modified E92 M3 with the help of IND. I loved it because it was a reflection of me. Some members loved it and some didn't but to each his own. Now that I'm an i8 owner, the car is still not perfect so you know.... But now being on the i forums, I have never seen so much negativity. Either not getting enough electrical charge, waiting for the car itself, modifying, even simple coding. Even when I started a thread about coding and getting it done there were members posting there negativity about it however they eventually got it done themselves. You know who you are. In all enjoy your car make it your own, modifying or not. But no need for the personal bashing. Leave a simple a "not feeling it" and move on.

As for the i8, the three things you offer aren't practical or attractive.

First, blocking out a safety device is problematic, both from a legal and a liability perspective. Second, lowering the front lip would be catastrophic for those of us who live in areas with less than perfectly maintained roads (like all of the U.S.). And third, the blue wheels are hideous and different wheels for the sake of being different doesn't seem to cut it. Especially when BMW has designed the wheels on the i8 specifically for the i8. The W and turbine wheels are unique. Yours aren't.
We have great roads here in South Florida! The i8 looks sick. Great job iND!!

I think many of you are forgetting the rules of marketing. There are none. Now I'm not saying IND has any relation to the gentleman that posted his extremely critiquing/opposing comment right after they started this thread. But if I were aiming to get attention for my company/products, well...
At any rate, I support, and even endorse IND's products so take my thought with a grain of sea salt. I just hate to see anyone argue over... nothing (especially if you don't own either vehicle)

Enough bantering among us BMW enthusiasts. So, what kind of mods do we think would work with this Schnitzer? http://www.bmwhotnews.com/wp-content...w-6-series.jpg

If it's any consolation to this group, I took my i8 to pick up the new Merc GT I ordered. Noticed the big difference in behavior between the two cars when I drove the GT out of the dealership for a test drive. Ended up canceling the purchase. BMW i8 sooo much better in ride and handling!

So far you have placed links in both of your reply's. I'd say stay on topic, and just focus on what the thread is about. And hopefully it will help point those who own i3's and i8's, in the direction by which they can find such terrific products.
