Fucking idiot!

Dam Mexican drivers! Same here in New York they don't now the rules of the road. And how do all the illegals get out of state licenses and plates is beyond me.

Poor i8, but how did it handle in the crash?

Clearly this was one of the cars built for the Australian market, being driven in the northern hemisphere. That never works out.

So now... Where's the "through the floorboards" escape hatch? Wasn't that option TTFB ?

Maybe I'm missing something but it looks like there is a puddle of blood in the second picture.

The reports (lacking much detail) state that no one was injured.

I think that's just a strangeness of the light reflecting off of the coolant.

However, perhaps the driver, seeing the the i8 was injured and in pain, shot the i8 in the head, to give it a quick and merciful death.

Break the windows -- why do you think track events require cars to run with windows down even in the rain?? If you can't break them from the inside, then wait for someone to help you from the outside.

To much tequila I'd say.

Hopefully BMW can get some good real word crash data from the reck. It looks like the BMW's i8 life module did it's job!

With the ways those doors open, looks like you get some time to yourself to reflect on how you ended up in that situation...
