0-60 3.6sec? 3.8, 4.4 or 4.6?
So in this car & driver review w/ launch control they said 3.6 seconds which is pretty damn fast.
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...ay-test-review In the same review they said 4.6 w/out Official specs say 4.4 from BMW, not sure if it's rolling or launch. they also did a test originally stating 3.8 seconds http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...i8-test-review So which is accurate? |

i hear in America 0-60 times are timed using the 1 foot rolling method which in itself helps to gain at least 0.2sec.
Here in the UK, it is mainly 0-62mph (to make it 0-100kmh) and from a complete stop. It may explain some of the differences. Autocar en EVO have 4.5sec and 4.4sec resp. |

There is also launch control which will probably knock a couple of tenths off, too. The test fleet may not be as good as the cars out there now.
I suspect that the car will do 0-60 in 3.6 but BMW doesn't want to advertise it. And 60 mph indicated in the car (which we won't use for measurement purposes, of course) is really 58 MPH. Current BMWs are all 2 MPH over. At least that's true as to the 4 I have now and the previous 5 going back to 2006.
