YWGT3 is so eloquent
I love my i8! (almost 4 years of ownership, longest I've ever owned any exotic - that should tell you everything)

That's good feedback to hear. I've seen and read about quite a few people having 458's, 488's, etc, Lambo Hurracan's, etc, and they've all said they loved the i8, they owned one too..

I own no garage queens. If it's in my driveway, it's been ridden hard and put away wet. ...and now, with a light crust of Maine road salt.

BMW is not selling but financing these i8's to keep this model alive.
Without the ridiculously low monthly payment fees production would have been ceased already!
Margins are good enough; the successor not ready; keeping current production going.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

BMW i8 does turns head. I live in neighborhood full of Ferrari, Lambo and other exotics. i8 stands out of all, I don't it's copper color or design. Believe me or not California driver even turned his head to see my car on Red Light. Awesome

Yes especially the roadster

More attention than a “normal” Ferrari
