The car would basically be perfect with a TT V6... even a V4 would be a huge step up

Right when I'd hoped that heinous looking i8 thing would disappear they double down on this thing. BMW designs are totally hurting these days.

Those can be removed with floss so it is not that big of a deal.

The car is clearly not for you.

Don't like it, don't worry about it.

I got the i8 for the weekend and was amazed. My friend (who was amazed as well) told me that its visible where BMW "saved" monies on the interior. Now I see that they stepped up (considering the price they should have done it earlier). One thing though, ceramic controls now an option but only bits that already exist and didnt need to be created specific for i8, which is why climate controls and volume buttons are non-ceramic. Thats about the only thing I can say! Car is awesome and if I could I'd go for the roadster.

I can only imagine this car wit a NA V10 or TT V8 in the back...

It looks great but too sterile for me.. besides the price tag

I love coming here to get all the updates. Please keep it up! However at an expected price of 144K for this vehicle.........Keep it! Manufacturers are getting way out of control with prices.

I had mine for three years. It's a beautiful car that checks a lot of boxes. My wife loves being whisked around in this thing. She hated being driven in every one of my sports cars (I had over 60 of them) except the Aston, Ferrari, and the i8.

I got bored out of my skull after less than 30 months. It's gone now and I have a loud AMG GT (the cheap one, which is sufficient for a 72 year old man). Not regretting it at all.

BMW clearly doesn't visit BMW forums. They have no clue what we want.

If you want something buy it, because the car industry is clearly never going to be the same moving forward.
