Question Child Seat - Experiences Sought

Considering an i8 coupe. Does anyone have experience with CHILD SEATS in their i8? I have a 9 month old son and would plan to own the car for the next 1.5 - 3 years. I drive him 1 mile to daycare each morning. Curious about fitment in front and back seats, respectively, and ability to get him in and out appropriately now and as he continues to grow.

i used this one with the little integrated belts:

It was the only one that i found that could fit to the car.

Depends if you plan to use the front passenger seat. You'll have to push the seat all the way to the front if you want to use a rear facing child seat. I have a 3yr old in a front facing seat and I still push the front seat almost all the way forward so he won't kick the back of it. The high door sill is a good place for me to sit while I buckle the little one in.

This is the rear facing I used:
Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 Infant Car Seat, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LIRJ2NU/

This is the front facing I'm using now:
Graco Nautilus 80 Elite
http://www.gracobaby.com/en-US/nauti...ar-seat-103534

I removed the back rest and seat so the child seat is just sitting on the black material. I wouldn't put any car seat in the front seat. There is no latch system in front and the seat belt allows too much movement of the child seat not to mention the danger of air bag going off. Don't put child seat in front!

Do you use a child seat for your 3 year old? If so, what's the model?

Yes with a Three-Point harnass, I will post pictures for you. It was was shallowest in base length as that is the most important consideration when getting a front facing seat for a child in an i8.

I have a cybex rear facing seat. It’s a bit tight on the front but someone can still sit there
