You know... I passed over this movie on the big screen, even though I l o v e the genre about as much as ANY other movies. So I finally watched in on Blu Ray and O M G!!!!!!!! It is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!
And I mean from start to finish people. Even if you don't like the genre (sword and sorcery/fantasy) you will appreciate this movie for it's: story, characters, actors, setting, special effects, everything!

WATCH NOW and report back! I do hope you watch in HD on some sort of Home Theater sound system. That makes all the difference.

I will go so far as to say that overall, this is one of the best movies made in the last several years easily.

I wanted to watch it and then it got panned by the critics and I think public to. I'll give it a watch now, some quality time with my big screen.

It may not be for everyone. But I will go so far as to predict:

If you like or love: Game of Thrones, LOTR, The Hobbit, etc. You will definitely enjoy this movie.

I watched Legend of the Sword 3 weeks ago in my home cinema .
Of course on Blu Ray and I agree the movie was really amazing !

I noticed it was available in UHD and Atmos so was interested. And I like Jax (from SoA), but it seems every movie he’s done so far has kind of flopped. Maybe I’ll check it out now, thanks.

His American accent always comes off as a watered down New Yorker. I always wondered how come he didn’t work on his California accent for Sons of Anarchy. I’m not one to complain though since I’m not able to switch accents with ease.

I saw it opening weekend and loved it.

I don't listen to what critics say as I couldn't give 2 fux about someone sitting on the sitting on the sidelines tossing stones at those actually accomplishing things.
Willingly suspending disbelief and going to see what you like is the key to enjoying movies. Cheers-mk

Yeah, CHiPs got horrible reviews, but I still enjoyed it for what it is. I laughed a good bit and have watched it three times already lol.
