Seems like a missed opportunity for BMW to capitalize off the M badge like they so often do. Can't find a single visible change inside or out for this "M-Performance" model, why not just call it an iX 60 then?

I think it's there but subtle changes. What I have spotted:

M badge on the alloys
The kidney grill looks slightly larger
Front bumper is different
Blue callipers
M badges all round

Air suspension as standard as well as b&w sound system.

Overall agree, not enough change to justify the addition cost even if the range is slightly higher…

It also looks like as per the articles I read so far on the m60 reviews, that mostly everything that was an option on the x50 is standard on this model. (Massage seats, head up display, b&w, air suspension, drive assist, laser lights, and more)
