Any DIY people here? CEL at 26k

Hey everyone. I. Enjoying my little i3, but after less than 1k miles of ownership I already have a CEL. It’s not major and I’m not freaking out, but I’m hoping this is something simple enough that I can fix myself. Just not sure if anyone else here is of the DIY mindset, especially for something that appears this simple.

Any tips?

Thanks in advance

Have you checked the gas cap to see that it's screwed on tightly? This is the usual cause for Evap leaks on traditional ICE vehicles.

I also vaguely recall reading about a problem with fuel tanks in early REx models, but don't remember the details since my i3 is the BEV version.....

Oh man, if it’s for the gas cap...

I’ll check. It’s been a few weeks since I actually put gasoline in the car lol

Dont forget that a lot of emissions control parts are covered under warranty for 15 years of 150K miles in most states. It may be worth checking with your local dealer or indy. Page 13-14.
