Reaching out to fellow UK members

In the market to switch my 2019 X5 into iX. Time to go all electric. I am wondering if anyone has managed to get a good deal from a dealer as I'm struggling. I know with the chip shortage there is a long lead time for delivery and hardly any in the wider network and therefore the only option is order your spec. Has anyone managed to strike a good deal with dealer and where?

I was looking to do the same and got pretty much where you are. The dealer told me that because BMW have not been able to figure out what residuals might be yet, they are pricing things high. Ended up with them saying there was strong demand at the moment, so if price was too high, check back in six months

Thanks. Looks like that is the only option at present.

Same problem here in Ireland.

Cost to change was too high for me.
