Call me crazy but I’m looking forward to hearing about his eSIM adventures with the XM!

I really enjoyed calling AT&T to cancel the existing service. I know I could’ve transferred the existing lines over to the XM; but I’m not about to attempt that! I find it very funny that you can activate new service without talking to a human, but then you have to call to cancel anything. So annoying!

CONGRATULATIONS VirtualGuitars It is beautiful. I hope you love your XM as much as we love ours, and while it's only been about a month or so, we have not had a single issue or snafu or a "what was that sound" moment Our XM has been flawless since day 1.

We hope to still see you on our Forum. You will be missed!

The only ICE or PHEV I will ever consider from now on is BMW iX5 Hydrogen alike if hydrogen refill stations replace gas stations everywhere.

A future car with 50kwh solid state high density battery pack weights like 10 kwh battery today. 4 high efficient but powerful and tiny axial flux 1200v e-motors with 3-speed transmission that provides 6.0 mi/kwh alone in eco mode. 1 tank of liquid hydrogen that powers a small inline 3 hex turbo 1.0L engine with 10-speed dual clutch transmission that is compatible to double the range to 600 miles or boost the max performance to 1500 HP and 1600 Torque. You can refill thank in 5 mintues from 0 to 100%.

For now, I will stick with BEV.

I never had problems with activation before! I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with AT&T. I know a lot of you’ve run into this part before. Let the fun continue!

I probably should’ve waited a day or two after canceling the existing eSIM lines. I’ve gone through the setup wizard two or three times on different devices and no new lines are appearing on my account. You know, I may not even bother anymore, or I may just have to switch providers like Paladin1 suggested.

I found that in times of difficult decisions, flipping a coin helps bring focus and clarity. The moment before you look at the cool , you get a sense of which way you want it to turn out. That’s when you know what you really want.

I actually enjoyed driving it home in electric-only mode last night.

Nice. I know it's a weird little thing, but I'm more than a little jealous of anyone who gets to enjoy an Alcantara/microsuede/etc headliner.

I'll always be mad that the 100k+ iX doesn't even offer it as an option!

The interior is so much more comfortable - especially the seats. The massaging function is a lot better too. The XM Label Interior color and options only comes one way to differentiate between it with the regular XM. The LED lighting in the headliner is really cool although it’s not for everyone. You can change it to whatever color you want similar to the iX lighting on the door panels Aside from the exterior color, both vehicles look fairly similar. I doubt my neighbors will even notice that I have a different vehicle.

Yeah massage in the iX is an abomination. The interior looks really nice in the XM.

So do you plan to take it to the track to see what it can do? Or just I-10 at an off time?

If I’m going back to the track, it would be back on a different BMW! This is me during a CMRA race at MSR Houston. My XM did come with the M drivers package which extends the top speed limiter to 175 mph. So yes, you might see me on the HOV lanes on I-10. 😂😂😂

Hi Virtual Guitars, I have been curious about this on the PHEVs, 30 miles of Electric range is good for local errands but at what HP? also on long trips, when battery is depleted, and run on gas, what is the HP and MPG?

You’d probably get your question answered better with a google search than from someone who’s owned the vehicle for <24h…
