I've only driven it about 300 miles, but so far I love it!
Sold my v10 R8 a few months back and thought I would really miss it, but I have to say that the i8 exceeded my expectations.

I ordered a front a rear diffuser for it, will post pics once installed.

Looks great! Would be interesting to hear comparisons about the V10 R8 (which gen?) as I was thinking about getting one of those too!

Welcome, yeah, I'm interested actually in the comparison too. The loss of a big v10 vs perhaps the more pleasurable daily driving of an i8?

Thanks. I had the gen 1 V10 for about 5 years.

The only things I miss (slightly) is the extra HP and handling of my R8. Apart from that, the i8 outshines in every category.

Love all the new tech in the i8...headsup display, wireless Carplay..etc. The R8 was a joy to drive when you really pushed it, but as a daily driver, the i8 is so much better.

Very interesting! I would have though the V10 was noticeably faster? I find the i8 is strange - sometimes it feels very quick, sometimes it doesn't seem that quick at all. How do you feel about the lack of soundtrack? Something I miss sorely, even though I've had my i8 for a year now. Seriously tempted to get a gated V10 gen 1 R8 as a weekend toy! The i8 is a superb daily, no doubt about it though!

Out of interest, with regards to the stares, do you find people gave you more attention in the R8 or i8?

Yup, the V10 is def noticeably faster...but I really don't miss that extra power for daily driving. I missed the exhaust sound at first, but I've gotten used to quite drive of the EV, so now when I hear a loud car go by I actually get annoyed hahaha.

In regards to the attention, 100% more in the R8. Don't get me wrong, the i8 still turns heads, but def not as much as my R8 did...which I honestly don't miss.
