Just wish they'd make a convertible but I doubt they would. A 400hp 2 seat convertible with a manual transmission would be awesome. I know the Mustang and Camaro exist but the absence of rollover protection is disconcerting.
Depending on what the prices end up being, and when this market corrects, I will take a serious look at the new Z if they come out with a convertible before I end up buying another Miata or Elise.

Will it get an LCI soon? I feel like it's already been out for years. What a ridiculous windup.

After seeing more pics and video I don't like the front it looks too cartoonish and not aggressive enough for me.

This "gray" has too much blue hue, so I still prefer the gunmetal.

My 370Z was gun metallic. Loved that paint but going with something different this time. I expect boulder gray to appear a lot less blue in person, more like this:

Not big on red cars with a few exceptions, but I think it looks good on the Z.

100% agree. It's getting hard to not call the one of the local Nissan places.

The better wants a Pro-4X so I may wait until fall/spring and see if we can get a deal on getting both.

I can see a very reasonable couple of grand investment to bring this car up to 500+hp. And the engine is already reliable too. Making this car.even more attractive!

How are you liking the new V6 and transmission? I had a new '11 Pro-4X, obviously years ago. I used to purposely go get it "stuck" in 2WD out of boredom. Threw it in 4WD and locked the rear diff, and it crawled out so easily as if to say, "Is that really all you're going to throw at me?"

My big question is, "How's the interior?" That was my only gripe with my 350Z (which I bought with only like 22k on the clock) and the aforementioned Pro-4X.

As much as I really liked everything else, the interiors just felt incredibly cheap.

I've read some "hater" comments elsewhere about these engines eating rod bearings. Is that like the S5x/S6x, or is it guys going for "all of it" on shitty tunes? I'm assuming the later.

Really like the willingness of the engine...torque where it needs to be. This is my first automatic truck so I may not be the best to critique it, but I do think overall it's pretty smart with no gear hunting and smooth up and down shifts.
I have the cloth seats and think the fabric will be durable...they're attractive too (nice stitching). As for the dash, there is a lot of hard plastic. Not luxurious but I'm coming from a '12 Tacoma and it's an improvement over it.
Where it really shines is it's handling and road manners. They've added a rear sway bar that keeps it pretty flat...again, a huge improvement over the Toyota. I should also add that the cabin is really quiet and isolated from road shock.
I've owned pickups since '82. Had a '12 Frontier that I really liked. This '22 is much more modern in every way...but its still a truck and I view it with a different eye when comparing to any other type of vehicle. Go test drive one...I think you'll be impressed as I was.
