My IX50 ordered day before TG and completed a week ago has been waiting since last Wednesday for carrier assignment, transportation to the port from the factory.

Is this unusual?

Unfortunately not. Mine is in a similar lengthy “awaiting carrie assignment” out of the Oxnard, CA VPC.

We are celebrating for we heard a few minutes ago that ours will have a transporter ride out Oxnard, CA’s VPC leaving there tomorrow, arriving at our Oregon dealership on Friday.

Another baby step for me. I'm getting close to the finish line. My car flipped to "In Transit" last night on the way from VPC to the dealer.

• Week 35 Build with 8/30 original production date
• 8/30 - Finished production and went to QC status
• 9/7 - Production date changed to 11/8
• 9/15 - Jumped to Awaiting Carrier Assignment and production date revised to 9/15
• 9/22 - Dispatched from Factory
• 9/25 - At the Port
• 10/27 - Actually left the port on the Durban Highway
• 10/30 - Status updated to In Transit
• 11/11 - Durban Highway arrived in Brunswick
• 11/14 - Status updated to 193 - At the Port
• 12/13 - Recall cleared on 3rd party website
• 12/23 - Status updated to In Transit from VPC to dealer

Merry Christmas to me!!! Santa dropped my car off at the dealership overnight, so I woke up Christmas morning to see "At the Dealership" status. The only thing that remains is coordinating with the dealer for final signing.

The ship's final destination is Brunswick, GA with stops at Southampton, UK, Halifax, Canada, and Newark, NJ - see the route schedule here . Wallenius Wilhelmsen's Traviata arrived at Port Newark, NJ yesterday (12/29) evening. After unloading some cars, including mine, bound for the nearby dealerships it left Port Newark the next day (12/30) bound for Brunswick, GA where it is scheduled to arrive on New Year’s Day. Perhaps, some east coast forum members have their iXs on this ship.
