I8 forward facing child seat
Hi all,
I have an M4 convertible at the moment, which I like, I did have an i8 back in May last year, but had to sell in the end, as we couldn't really get on with a rear facing seat with our new may arrival! I've really missed the car, and starting to want one again! Such a great blend of performance, looks and running costs This will be a second car as the other half has an Astra we can use for heavier duties, I plan to pick up an I8 at the end of the summer, (starting to research now....) and get a bit of use out of the M4, by then the little one should be in a forward facing seat, Was just wondering if anyone uses one in their i8 that fits OK? I'm based in the UK, Halford seem to do one that looks good, and can be attached with the belt. James Last edited by jamesbilluk; 04-24-2020 at 11:20 AM.. |

I'm using the max cozy baby.
Passenger seat has to be up all the way now for my 4 yo daughter to have room for her legs. Wife is petite so she can still fit in the passenger . I wouldn't call it a right fit , but maybe a cozy fit? Definitely works though ! And the max cozy isn't particularly small. This year trying to find something smaller. |

We use two forward facing seats for our 3 year old, the maxi cosy isofix base with the pearl seat and the £27 Halfords essentials seat. The Isofix base/seat normally lives in the other half’s car but I prefer to use it in the i8 when we are travelling longer distance. The Halfords seat does sit quite upright and so isn’t so comfortable when they want to sleep.

Thats great, thank you, does the front seat have to be forward infront of the isofix and peal seat? |

No probs, the seat does need to be forward to allow adequate leg room in the back but it’s still comfortable for my other half in the front who’s 5ft 4, even when the seat is laid back. I’ll get some pics of both seats in for you once we are out of lock down!

That doesn't sound too bad though, my other half is about the same height so should be OK, |
