So I have an i3 and I installed a 240 charger that's capable of charging at 9.6 kw but my i3 only pulls 7.3 kw anyone know how to increase the intake?

Maybe the US cars are different, but our European i3S can charge 11 kW with 16A 3 phase power. When charging 32A one phase, the maximum is 7.3 kW.

U.S. models don't support 3-phase power since almost no household in the country has 3-phase power. Heavy appliances use 240V 2-phase and only industrial users have 3-phase.

You can't. The i3 is capped at 32a. I had a Chargepoint installed and did the direct connection to the charger with a 60amp breaker. Effectively, I should be able to charge at a full 50a. I was bummed that the i3 won't allow anything higher than 32a.
