2021 i3 Ordering Guide?
Is the 2021 I01 i3 ordering guide out yet?
BMW NA finally updated the i3 configurator on bmwusa.com to the 2021 model year. However, it only shows two out of the three new colors - Blue Ridge Mountain is missing. The ordering guide should reveal whether it’s available in the US or not. Thanks! |

Are you switching back and forth between the two keys? A lot of settings are assigned to the key and driver profile, so if you assign radio presets while using one key/profile and the next time unlock and start the car with the other key or another driver profile then many settings (including the radio presets) will be different. If you never set any presets with the second key then it will look like you have lost all presets. Need more detail here. When you say “can not turn off radio” do you mean the sound doesn’t shut off when you press the volume knob, or that the display doesn’t turn off? The radio never “turns off” in the sense that the display switches to a different screen, or the display turns off all together....There is no “turning off” the radio in the i3 or other BMW’s...all that happens is the sound is muted when you press the volume button and comes back when you press it again. If you want to turn off the display all together then there is a setting to do that in iDrive. Need more detail here too. If I remember correctly, the door lock settings which are available to change in iDrive, are assigned to the key/profile...just like the radio presets settings. If you go back and forth with the two keys or switch profiles manually then whatever setting you have set with one key will not be active when you use the other key. More detail would help. Are you talking about Level 1, Level2, or DCFC charging? I assume you have already set the charging rates to MAX for Level 1 and Level 2 in iDrive. If you haven’t, then you should. If you have, then maybe the charging rate is also assigned to the key like the other settings (not sure about this)...or there may be a problem with the EVSE (charger). I hope at least some of this was helpful. |
