When Chubby Chester came to Camp Aussie in July, the owner thought I remembered how to work his shock collar from 2 yrs ago. I didn't, & so had to test each button on my leg!
The LED went bad on our extra shock collar, so I had to make sure the shock was still consistent with the dial, so I put it on my leg! My dentist says I have a high pain tolerance, but he makes me cry all the time. Last edited by Littlebear; 09-10-2021 at 07:00 PM.. |

And what kind of dentist you go to that makes you cry?! Bring one of the collars and put it on him. Each time you feel he's causing pain, just zap him. |

Onslow is an ALPHA. We wanted to keep his nuts until ~ 18 months, but chopped them at ~10 months because he was so alpha. It didn't change him a bit. So we enlisted Tyril, our favorite ex-police dog trainer, and he said we could do it either way, but the shock collar would be twice as fast, and twice as certain. Tyril under sold it! We bring good dogs up to a cabin bordering a wilderness area in the Adirondacks, NY. This means not even a picnic table is allowed. With these collars, we hardly have to leash the dogs; They have much more freedom. The little mongrels really do learn that a little vibration (button #1) is wise to obey rather than waiting for button #2 (chowee!!). RE: My dentist: you don't know my pain! My latest bill could put a kid through a year of college. Last edited by Littlebear; 09-10-2021 at 07:34 PM.. |

I work a couple of doubles a week. It's either sign up for O.T. or get drafted and work it on the department's terms. I work it on my kick-on and kick-off to ensure my off days are free and clear. |

So not sure if I’ve posted this before and it was answered but telling a story over the campfire last night about:
Back in 1997 had a e28 with tints and was pulled over in my local town Upstate NY. Cop asked if I had snakes in the car. Reason for being pulled over was because the tint was too dark. Why would he ask if I had ‘snakes’? Officers chime in (again I would guess). |

A law just went into effect here that prohibits the valued guests of the NY State prison system from being called "inmates." They must now be referred to as "incarcerated individuals" instead, because words like "inmate" and "convict" have negative connotations.....
