Hi Evan,

A bunch of iX owners have expressed a desire for some sort of iX specific headrest cushion for the front driver/passenger seats. There's a plastic square thing on them which is quite uncomfortable for shorter people. Due to the unique shape & design of the seat, cushions designed for other models aren't suitable.

See below for image.

Is there any accessory coming out for this?

thanks!

Good catch! Since we're a dealership, I made sure we had everything shopbmwusa.com shows - there are some discrepancies here and there.

Not that I'm aware of, but I'll certainly keep an eye out!

Evan@Tischer -- Are you going to put together winter tire/wheel packages for the iX?

Just like in GoT, Winter is Coming.....

Absolutely! We have the Style 1011 winter wheel/tire assemblies already in the iX section linked above - here's a direct link.

BMW usually releases their winter wheel/tire program in the Fall, so we'll add any other options if/when they're released.

Thank you for that. That is actually interesting they are pitching the 21" wheels as those have the lowest range (compared to 20 or 22's). Also, do you accept BMW CCA membership discounts on your parts purchases?

No problem!

There's the 20" style 1002's listed in our parts system, however they're not released in the US market as of yet. I'd expect a 20" option to be released with their 2022/23 winter wheel/tire program in the Fall.

Our site includes all current discounts upfront (unfortunately wheel/tire sets have very limited mark-up), and we'll always display any active promo codes on our homepage, forums we sponsor, social media, and through email blasts.

FYI, I received these this week from my local BMW dealer. The photo in the online BMW Accessory catalog is deceiving, the wheel is all black except those 5 strips of very bright faux machined finish. The "Y" with the chrome strip is a piece of plastic screwed onto the wheel from the inside. Wheel stood up next to my company car, VW Tiguan,
for a quick visual on a small SUV, since my iXM60 is still in Bremerhaven.

Obviously some $$$ to be made for a company that invents something for this.

An ideal solution would be some sort of thin/comfy cushion that has a thing on the back which slots straight into the square area (instead of having straps going all the way around the seat top). I've come close to going out and buying some bits/trying to make one myself - but I suck at these sort of things and it wouldn't look too good.

Something I noticed on this listing: rim condition “good.” Possibly some rims they got and mounted themselves for sale
