It really doesn't take too much space.
When I'm not using it, I slide it next to a wall and it's pretty much out of the way.

How much did cost for the entire package? I must say that driving in real life is way way way more satisfying ( 1 million times) than playing video driving games. Well, if you're too young to drive, video games are the only way to go.

The seat, which I just bought on Amazon, was $325.
The wheel and pedal is a Microsoft Xbox Wireless Wheel, was $150 when I purchased it 2 years ago, but now they are a lot cheaper ($89.99 on Amazon).

So the total package is around $415 + tax (shipping usually free).

Great, congratulations!
The xbox wheel can be connected to the power outlet for force feedback - for the wireless part, 2 AA batteries are required (just like the regular xbox controllers).

so this would include everything you need (wheel, pedals, stick shift) right? I have a 360 btw

http://www.fanatec.de/webshop/new_us...df32c4bd1e148e

seriously considering this since Forza is coming out

Nice! Id never get away with that though. Now if I could just get the wheel and the manual pedals id be happy. I think this inspired me to check out my options.

I'd say keep a budget for the rest, but snag that 911 wheel....about to be sold out

p.s. they have this now:

That is, the G25 but with 6 mounted buttons and LED shifter gauge!

and fortunately, they took out that whack "two in one" combo with the 6spd+triptonic...

Bumping this thread because I'm now in the market for a setup like the ones mentioned here. I can no longer handle playing Forza 4 with the controller so I'm now leaning towards the Evolution seat and the mircosoft wheel/pedals. Any other options out there I should consider? Was looking at the Fanatec but not sure I want to drop $500+ on a complete wheel/clutch/pedal setup.

I think there was a good discussion on this in the GT5 thread, maybe even a standalone GT5 wheel setup thread.

A lot of the guys in this thread I don't recognize as being really active anymore so maybe you'd have better luck in the more recently spawned threads.
