Cund-a-sac = Cul de sac Medium = Median Irregardless = there is no such word I also despise the amount of usage the word "literally" gets; especially that it's misused so often by the people that say it in every sentence. |

My best friend used to you say "knowwhudI'msayin" two or three times every time he spoke. I mentioned it to him one day and he said that he realized that he was doing it but couldn't stop. He genuinely asked me to help him because we worked together at the time, he was my boss. I told him I would help as long as he promised it wouldn't affect our friendship or my employment; he agreed. Less than a minute later he said it and without hesitation I bitch slapped him as hard as I could in face. Instantly he was ready to fight, then I explained why I slapped him. I broke him that day. He did slip up a few times after and instantly apologized and begged me not to slap him again. The comical aspect of this is that he is 6' 6" and is massive, I'm 5' 9". |

He was completely shocked and couldn't believe that I did it. I told him instantly after I did it, that every time it came out of his mouth he'd get another one. What was funny was how he would flinch immediately after he caught himself saying it and look around quickly to see if I was close enough to reach him.

One of my favorite phrases - bitch-tit - commonly to refer to someone being snarky, bitchy or otherwise obnoxious. Also used to refer to my dog when she's being a twat.

Sigh. I also hate irregardless, it isn't a word. I believe they are trying to say irrespective. Also, Ex-Presso. Um, no. Espresso.

Speak of, I cringe when I hear "pronounciation"... Don't get me started on Italian words used in English... Can never hear it right, and when I say it right I get corrected by the waiter/tress: - bruschetta (they say brushera or brusheda) - 1 biscotto (they say "biscori") - 1 gelato (they say "geladi") Etc... |
