Does i8 come with heated seats and heated steering wheel?

...isn't that the strangest thing? I was surprised there is no heated steering on a convertible but now also have gloves

To be fair, as if it is cold you can remote pre-heat the whole car and if it is warm you don't need it at all it's no issue in real life. I got the car in autumn and did some untypical 5°C roof down driving where the gloves made sense but usually my roof down outside temperature doesn't require heating or gloves. I came from a Tesla and am completely used to the car being warm before I get in. As the i8 provides the same feature you'll not miss heated steering.

If you compare the problems that SARS-CoV-2 caused in countries able to afford helping their citizens through the pandemic with those it has caused and will cause, this statement is fundamentally untrue I believe. And it is:

When you get the virus and get sick, it doesn't matter you are reach or poor. Actually some countries with lower GDP handle the situation much better than us ( in US) . If you get on the ventilator with covid, the chance that you die is higher than you survive even you get the most expensive care.
Believe me, I take care of these patients in the icu .

BTW we were talking about hand warmer in the i8!

I consider the US a third world country in social/health care and in poor countries you don't need to get the virus to get into life threatening situations because of the measures against the pandemic, that's the difference.

I perfectly agree. I looked for the button and was 100% sure it must be there but it wasn't. Let's say in some ways (e.g. also no radar based criuse control) the i8 shows some "character"

Health disparities are a touchpoint for me, so I am in sympathy with Leto's comments. I don't think any ill will was intended, and good to see everyone be positive. We are so fortunate to be in circumstances that allow us to be driving this wonderful car, and should be most thankful of that and mindful of the challenges that those less fortunate face.

So I can't post new threads yet, but I am curious as to who all drive their i8 in the winter. Is the performance on par with other X-drive BMWs?

My wife drives a 440i xdrive convertible, the i8 is on par only with both engines active, you can force that. But you need to be aware you also need to force it on snow.

However, Winter is a season melting away here in Germany (last year I think winter was a Thursday), so mostly cold/wet and not snow comparisons.
