I used to. My ex husband would sleep all the way over on my side of the king size bed or lay diagonal. Drove me nuts.

We're pretty good about bed space. She's small, 5' nothing, so our king size is more than enough space.

It's the 4 year old monster that comes running into our room every night at 3am and then decides to lay horizontally that ruins things.

The wife and I don't fight for bed space. It the two dogs who we fight with and neither dog is over 20lbs lol.

Wifey sleeps along the center line of the bed, but luckily I'm an edge sleeper, so we rarely lack for individual space.

We are polar opposites with bedding, i use very little and she absolutely LOADS up so there's this massive fort between us. Well there was, I have been using the spare rom for a while now, we are both horrible sleepers and we keep waking each other up in the same room, further reducing our sleep.

I have to deal with heat-seeking feet a few times per week. Even with my reduced circulation, they still subconsciously lock onto my feet and push them off of the bed and onto the floor. I usually move to the couch until the next nature call strikes, which is enough time for the heat-seeking feet to lock onto OCD psycho dog and free my side of the bed back up again.

You have no idea how difficult it is for me to avoid tossing a few ice packs or bags of frozen veggies into the bed to reclaim my spot on some nights.....

We'd prefer to be in the same bed but we have both regressed sleeping wise, we shuffle about a lot, we both bathroom break often. We were getting maybe 3 to 4 hrs a night in the same bed. We are also both ABSOLUTELY HORIBLE at falling back asleep after waking, can take hrs.

My 7 yr old flops around like a fish. She has to be touching me. It was cute as an infant, not so much now.

We both sleep great most nights. Of course most nights we sleep in different states from each other, so that could be the reason........
