Any thoughts on this lease deal for a custom order iX 50? This is for 36/10K, 0 drive off, 7 MSDs.

I think it’s decent but would like to know if there are any red flags/concerns that I should be aware of. My first time leasing. Thanks!

Looks like a great deal. You are getting 12% off in addition to the $9.9K lease incentive with the base MF (0.0005).

That is nearly identical to mine (when updated for the new lease incentives). Mine is a $104K build.

Thanks, guys. Wasn’t sure if there were numbers in the leasing sheet that I should be mindful of, but the final payment numbers seem to make sense based on the agreed-upon parameters, so I think I should rest easy.

How do you get a dealership to reduce money factor to buy rate and get a good percentage off MSRP ?

By undervaluing my time and overvaluing the lease hacking process 😃

The deals that are available right now on the BMW Ix are truly amazing. I wasn’t on this forum when I leased my IX in early October when I got 10% off plus the 9,900 and a decent money factor…and thought I did well. What I see now is simply incredible for such a nice ride; about 60% of the comparable lease cost of a cheaper Tesla Model X. BMW clearly wants to move these things…I wonder if they are loosing $$$ in the process. The fact that they allow the good deals on custom orders tells me they must be at least somewhat profitable.

It's been so long, I forgot the details... I signed mine August 3. The new 0.0005 MF and higher residual will grandfather for me, when I eventually finally sign. So, I think mine was 11% off, 0.00111 MF, and 53% residual for 10K miles/year on a $104K build. I also did max MSDs and no cap reduction to get my payment to $971 after tax. I expect that to go down at least $100/month with the new lease program. I hope to know in a couple days...

Based on my prior history I would avoid all 3

I have leased over 30 BMWs and not once have I ever been charged at lease end.

If you get all season tires don’t bother with insurance. You should be fine.

Many insurance policies cover full glass so again you don’t need BmWs coverage

Happy new year.

Never, ever, buy these things from the dealer.

It seems that dealer inventory is reduced based on the year end push, at least in the northeast. I wonder if 10% is realistic in this quarter?

Couple thoughts...
I think the NE market is different from south and west coast. Reports here have been that NE pricing has been consistently tighter than everywhere else.

Units are down a little bit in my market, but not much. The two biggest dealers advertised around 50 since early summer. Now, they are both about 10 units lower, but still a lot. Part of the reduction is probably incoming orders that are finally coming off stop sale. But they still have a lot of unsold inventory here. My nearest dealer still has the same 6 M60s that have been sitting on the lot since at least July.

Did anyone swing any deals in the PNW? I had a great experience with a broker doing a custom build, but no traction at local dealers getting anything more than a couple % off MSRP. Seems like the dealers were still moving a lot of iX models though given the underlying lease terms.

I’ll likely be in the market to replace my ‘22 X5 45e in a couple years, but the whole experience trying to swing a decent deal on an iX lease has kind of soured my desire to work with any of the local dealers. Had a great experience down in Bend when I bought that one when paying MSRP felt like a deal though.

I don’t understand your message. Any reason not to just work with a broker to get the car at a better price? What am I missing?

I did end up going with a broker this time around, just wondering if anyone was able to get decent pricing at a local dealer in the Pacific Northwest since it seemed like a lot of people were able to get good pricing locally in other areas of the country. It’s my first time working with a broker though, but maybe it’s just something I’ll need to get used to.

For my readings on the various BMW forms on the Internet, I heard the Pacific Northwest is notoriously difficult in terms of inventory for certain high-end BMWs. It seems like the best bet is to use a broker and get a car from a dealership in California and either fly and drive it back or have it transported to you. If you can save $3-4K off MSRP the extra hassle should pay for itself!!

Agreed. I helped someone in the PNW get 10% off + $800ish for shipping from NorCal to Seattle.

Satsavery the best broker for our (PNW) region is smithf80. Just curious which broker you end up using ?

If you want to buy MB, MB of Portland was offering great discounts and overall deals for MB EVs via a broker on lease hackr.

If you like BMW your best bet would be smithf80 or may be getting something from Northern California dealership.

When you get a deal let BMW Bellevue/BMW Seattle know about it just to rub it in.

Does anyone know if I should be able to use any lease program between the month of the order and the month the car gets delivered? I am now being told by my dealer that that mid-November/December 0.0005 MF program is not lockable and cannot be used now.

Did he not lock that rate for you before Jan 3rd ? It's clearly lockable. I have it locked for mine. Mine was locked just on basis of application for credit check with BMW FS. The dealer didn't even have an allocation at that point in time.

Your dealer is lying quite honestly.

I am quite sure you can apply a better program for any month till you take ownership of your car. There are folks on this forum who have literally done this.

smithf80 exxxviii can confirm this for you. If they are playing games with you I will recommend you get in touch with smithf80
