What is the max charge rate?
I have a Chargepoint at home that is directly connected to a 60amp circuit. That should give me about 48a max charging. However, when I went onto my app, it only says 32a charging. I looked in the iDrive menu and it looks like you can only go to 32a. Is there a way to force the i3 to charge at higher rates than 32a? Thanks.

The i4, i7, and iX are all capable of charging up to 48 A with level 2 charging. I’m not sure about the i3.

The I3 onboard charger for level 2 charging is rated at 7.4 KW in the US which limits it to 32a. I usually see 32.2a, max observed is 32.6a. Level 3 fast charging is limited to 50 KW. With the smaller battery size compared to newer EV's these limits don't affect charging times too greatly.
