We left Corpus Christi on Thursday night for Mcallen. If anyone is looking for a place to go, Mcallen has faired pretty well and I think there are still hotel rooms around. Haven't gotten a drop of rain yet.

Had to leave my F30 at my house in Corpus....hopefully both are still there

I live down here in Mcallen. We got maybe a shower or two..
From the looks of people's snapchats Texans give 0 f's about hurricanes. People were partying, driving, and running around outside. My people are crazy lol.

I can't imagine being in the middle of a hurricane. The closest I came was in 2008, during MotoGP at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, when the tail end of Hurricane Ike cut the MotoGP race short and cancelled the 250 race altogether. The only bright side was getting a picture with Marco Simoncelli at the IMS museum.

I think this post is what's wrong with us humans these days. You can afford a car, fine, but a 10% in fuel prices will be 13% in food prices for many all over the usa.

The impact of this storm will be huge. You'll spend 10% more for all needed things. You won't ever have to think about the people who had to live through this but this will hurt you too.

Nobody needs friends for the good times. The bimmerpost as a community has to care for our members no matter what the disaster they are facing. Communities matter, and our community is now under a storm.

My kids and my husband are still enjoying their refugee status, I'm still pathetic, all good tho! Today a volunteer friend brought me milk to keep me alive so i guess others think I could beat this!

Honestly, I'd have a dislocated shoulder or give birth rather than even the mildest of a cold. I can't handle even the smallest of a rise in body temperature, and i can handle pain okay in any other way.

I was on non stop antibiotics for sinuses until i found the miracle of Nasolin!

Trust me on this, and try them out. I'm now 20 years without antibiotics for sinus infections. Since I'm 35, you can imagine haha w bad my ear infections as a kid were, and how often i had them, later those were the smaller issue, and all got handled when i realized the joy of nasal sprays like nasolin.

See also Flonase and Singulair. They helped me a lot. I started with both but over time was able to stop the Flonase and just take Singulair. In the U.S. Flonase is now OTC but Singulair requires Rx. Not sure about Belgium. Some of the OTC sprays are actually quite addictive, can be very difficult to ever stop using and long term use can be harmful.

They all have the same ingredients mainly, i used the brand name that helped me 20 years ago, i don't even know if they still make that one these days.

That's my problem , the long term use in the last 7 years .
I will look into your Flonase and Singulair , but I'm not sure if they are available in Belgium.
Actually I need a sinus surgery , but I'm afraid of it because I was really surprised how much people suffer from their sinuses .
I have a couple of friends who had a sinus surgery , one guy is better . But the other guy is even worse .
That's why I think I take no risk for the moment , buy yeah it really s@cks day and night with my sinuses .
