BMW App

I’ve now had my car for a month and the BMW app has been fantastic until today.
I plugged my car in at a charging station in my office parking lot and unplugged it 8 hours ago.
My app is still showing my car being charged, has not moved that charging event to the charge history “file” and the app’s vehicle locator still shows my car in that parking lot even though I have been home for some time now!
Any suggestions or has anyone had this experience? It’s so strange…

Yes same with me the state of charge on the app won’t update and is stuck now on same reading for a day despite having both driven the car and charged it. There is another much longer thread on this as many people seem to be having the problem. Mine is with a 2023 i4 M50. Seems to be happening on all i models

I've got the same problem. Sometimes, the alerts for charging started or charging will begin message works. Last night, I got the alert for charging will begin at 12:15am, but never got the charging started alert, even though it did.

Seems many if not all of us are having this issue. Turns out I have a call scheduled tomorrow morning with BMW customer service just as a follow-up to my i4 purchase. I will be sure to bring it up with them, see if get any specific timeline for this to be fixed.

Yeah, without doing anything, it just started working again.
