y to z and z to y... WTF!

Hi,
Today i accidentally changed something on my PC with vista that when i press the y key, i actually get letter z, and vice versa. How do i fix it?
Please help me out because it is so damn annoying!!!

You probably switched your keyboard type to German, so you can either tell everyone you're German, or do this: (in reverse).

My guess is they type that way because 'y' is the least frequently used letter in the German alphabet. 'z' is more frequently used in German, and since it's easier for a touch typer to hit 'y' on our keyboards, they switched the keys. In English, 'z' is the least frequently used letter, so it makes sense to place the 'z' key in a more difficult place to reach.

Yeah it must have been switched to German. When I go out to visit our company's global hq, I always get so pissed when I try to type on their computers.
