BMW WallBox
I had the BMW Wallbox Gen 3 installed for my 2023 I4 eDrive 35, love the car. QMerit had the instructions and switch settings to install the box so I hire an electrician to install it. It works fine but when I first plug it into the car nothing happens, I have to pull the plug out then re-plug it in to start the the charge, charge lights then go on and I can see the charge icon on the car dashboard. I have the charge set to immediately, 80% and at the plug setting on the Wallbox to not authorize so I can just plug it in anytime. As I said it charges fine to the charge setting and turn off when it reaches the setting. I was just wondering if this is the way the BMW Wallbox works, you plug it in then pull it out and have to re-plug it in to get it to start?

That does not sound right.

The replug could override a configured timeslot setting. This is how Chargepoint works. You will have to reference the Wallbox manual.
