Hi, anybody in the UK have anymore information on the battery cell problems? Ive managed to get an M60 but it's now stuck with BMW, and no information on when it will be released.

Thanks

Rupert

Is this the existing recall or are you saying there is a new issue or recall?

There are a few threads on the issue already. Check them out as they have details on a recall site you can check your VIN on. If yours is affected by the battery recall you’re in for a reasonably long wait as it needs to be replaced and the logistics around that sound pretty complicated.

We don’t know the details of that but if your car has not been delivered I wouldn’t be surprised if they give you a different vehicle.

Thanks for info, will have a look. My one is affected by the battery recall, but never reached the dealership. My bmw dealership have no idea of time scale. Looks like a long wait.
