How are they still in business? WHo buys their "custom" designs? I mean this is a paint job on 2% of the car and the same tired wheels they stick on everything regardless if they fit - and a shitty spoiler that probably makes things worse.
What am I missing? Is it really Dubai to blame? Unreal. Please elaborate.

An interesting interpretation of the i8.
I have an ACS upper stress bar on my E63 M6. It is a well-engineered and executed piece and works much better than the stock plastic tubes that BMW insulted the car with. The only other item I would place on my car are their Type V wheels. They look amazing on the M6 and really show off the brake rotors. That said, the i8 is insulted by most of the pieces that ACS has installed on the car. The only piece that looks remotely in-place is the flow-modifier on the rocker panel. As Malibubimmer said, this is not the appropriate target audience OR target vehicle for these, 'improvements'. ACS does make good upgrades, unfortunately their design philosophy does not match the overall design philosophy of the i8. Cheers-mk |

As a close friend of mine who sells high line cars says " this car has a story" not something resellers want to hear. As much as after market adds feel like fun at the moment, one always needs to keep in mind who would buy this car now and did I reduce the number of prospective buyers and this does not take into consideration the cost of the mods.

And on an unrelated note, I saw you car last year when I was on a business trip to Knoxville. It was the first i8 that I saw in the wild. The coworkers with whom I was traveling couldn't believe how amazing the car was. Well done! |
