Weird comfort access issues

I just bought a 2010 e92 and the only issue it has is this wierd CA problem. I've searched and tried just about all the common issues from fob battery to antenna.

Symtoms:
1. Car doesnt unlock/lock when touching either handle.
2. Car doesnt start without the key being in the ignition. After i shut the car off it will restart once with the key removed and then after that it says "key not found...."
3. If i remove the hard key and unlock the door with it all my settings change to the previous owners. If i then lock and unlock with the fob all mine come back. Shouldnt it reconize it as the same key?

BMW dealers are a joke around here so i wanted to exhaust all resources before i take it in to get reprogrammed because thats the only other thing i can think of.

Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you

Almost sounds like no comfort access, you sure it's installed?

CA door handles have little raised ridges on the top of the key area as the designated contact area, non-CA door handles don't have them.

I had an 08 (have an 09 LCI, now) and that car had issues...would work intermittently. Tech told me there were some issues with the antennas...I did buy brand new, Duracell batteries and that helped...GL. Let us know what happens.

Check fault codes with Rheingold.
A faulty antenna will be logged.
