So I finally received the software update that makes the MP3 player work for my BMW 330i (with I-drive) which I received in June 2005.

I am an American living in Wurzburg, Germany, and my head mechanic finally received the update and did it for free!!!!

I don't know much about it other than it works, and it does exist.

SA dealers apparently have recieved the MP3 patch
I hear this has to be added in addition to the latest software

Hierdie is my derde geslag 3 reeks en ek belowe jou dis die beste een nog. Voorheen E36 E46 en nou E90.

Do you have a euro or USA spec car ?

On the 5 Series only Euro spec ones are getting the MP3 capability. For some reason USA spec 5 Series arnt allowing MP3 even after the software upgrade. So im wondering if the 3 series would be the same

Dankie, ek het ook 'n E36 gehaad, en daar is 'n paar E46 in die familie. Seker die E90 gaan goed wees

Yes, those pics. They helped a lot, but I then went and looked at M Sport Sparkling Graphite, Black Sapphire and Le Mans Blue standing together for the final choice

But i still keep looking at your exterior pics everytime i think of whats comming

My car is American specs, there is a program that lets American Army people buy American specs cars in Germany so we can ship them back to the states.
