For Sale - BMW E90 330i M Sport - Avg: 61MPG with Proof - 12 Months MOT

I am regrettably selling my high spec E90 330i M Sport

After spending 3 months looking for the perfect E90 in the spec I wanted and then spending quite a bit on preventive maintenance and satisfying my urge to have a perfect running car, I now need to sell her due to an imminent house purchase.

This BMW is the last of the naturally aspirated, port injection, straight six engine that BMW are so famous for! I picked this particular engine on purpose mainly because it does not have the inherent problems associated with the new direct injection N53 engine. This engine does not suffer from injector, HPFP and carbon build up issues. These few items alone add up to thousands in bills!!!

Car spec:
MOT until 26th August 2017 – No advisories
Full M Sport Aerodynamic Package
BBS LM alloys with curbing on 1 alloy only – rest are mint with premium brand tyres all around and plenty of tread left.
Dakota Lemon M sport interior with individual extras – The best interior colour by far
Heated Seats
Professional I drive – A must have for any E9x owner
Four zone digital climate control with ice cold aircon
Automatic Wipers
Automatic Headlights
Auto windows open/close feature coded to key
Cruise control with brake assist – amazing system, pull cruise control stalk to second position and the brakes are engaged rather than engine braking alone.
Hill assist
M Sport Multi-function Steering Wheel – Upgraded item – not standard
Aluminium interior trim
PDC control
Auto-dimming rear view mirror
Headlight washer system
Exterior light package – Looks stunning at night when the door handles light up
Bluetooth with Iphone cradle and professional sound system – Excellent sound with subwoofers under front seats
M Sport Suspension
Individual roof lining and sun visor
Auto lock on drive away
STAG Premium LPG multipoint injection system – Certified and on the LPG database

Maintenance:
12/03/2008 – 15266 - Oil Service
06/11/2008 – 31788 - Oil Service
28/04/2009 – 34130 - Oil Service and microfilter
00/00/0000 – 52024 – Inspection 2, oil service and microfilter
00/00/0000 – 70358 – Inspection 1, oil service and microfilter
25/03/2014 – 79420 – Oil service
06/12/2014 – 93830 – Inspection 1, oil service - Full Engine service including plugs and petrol injection cleaning system – BMW Filters used
09/09/2014 – Auxiliary drive belt and tension change
25/09/2015 – 106992 – Inspection 1, oil service
28/05/2016 – 119098 - Full engine service – Spark plugs, filters oil – All genuine parts only!
11/06/2016 – 120147 – Full engine health check from BMW specialists A1BN in Watford
24/06/2016 – 121740 – 4 wheel alignment – Full camber/toe adjustment - front and rear – expensive!

25/06/2016 – BMW M Sport undertray and all new clips – brand new from BMW
01/07/2016 – 122794 – Premium gearbox service from ZF in DORTMUND, GERMANY! I am pretty confident there are very few of us who would travel to Germany to get a gearbox service from the manufactures of these gearbox for peace of mind!!!! I am very much a man who likes to do preventative maintenance. Therefore with a perfectly working/shifting gearbox I went to Germany to let them do a full diagnostics on the gearbox, remove and clean the mechatronic unit and replace the common leaking components as well as new sump and full oil flush.

With all the above done, I am now at a stage where I can enjoy the car with peace of mind that the engine and gearbox are in perfect health and all I need to do is service the car and keep on top of wear and tear items!

I’ve saved the best until last. This car produces 258bhp and averages 50MPG in town and 70MPG on the motorway. These figures are from a comprehensive 12000 mile fuel log. No 330d or equivalent diesel will achieve these real world figures. Anyone that actually owns or have owned a diesel will know how inaccurate there recorded MPG figures are. Please be wary of others who advertise such MPG figures, without proof they are meaningless!
Again, this car runs amazing on either fuel, simply put you can drive however you like on whatever road you will always achieve 40MPG or better!

Car is fully registered on the LPG register and converted by a reputable LPG specialist in Birmingham. This is my fifth LPG vehicle and as an engineer who works for an engine manufacturer, please be sure that LPG causes ZERO damage to your vehicle.

Everything mentioned in terms of figures, maintenance and costs are all backed up with receipts for proof. MPG figures backed up by comprehensive fuel log.

£6000 for forum member. Advertised for 6.5k on autotrader and gumtree.

Thanks

Forgot to add:
1. Viewing available in London, Leicestershire and Peterborough - Hence why I need an LPG car!!!
2. Also I hear these engines use oil. Two of my mates own the n53b30 engines and top up 1 litre of oil every thousand miles without fail. I have been logging my oil usage and can confirm that the engine will use 1 litre of oil every 7000miles. BMW state upto 1 litre/1000miles is acceptable - I DON'T THINK SO!!! So rings are sealing very well and blowby is insignificant relative to other engines!

Thanks mate. Been away from the BMW scene for a number of years - an E36 man at heart!

Finally got myself back in a Beemer and I need to sell it. One day I'll be back - Maybe a 335i or a E46 M3...... after a lottery win

This is a reply I have just had for costing from Carl at ZF Dortmund,

"Your vehicle has got a type 6 HP-26 gearbox.
We recommend a gearbox oil change at 80- to 120000Km.
The gearbox oil pan whitch includes an integratet filter is
retrofitted incl. new bolts and guide shell.
After that the oil is blown out of the converter pneumatically. So we can change the main part of the oil.
The whole job takes about 4 hours as the gearbox
can only be filled when it´s cold.
Unfortunately, we only have time as of calendar week 49
The cost would be, 545,-€ with flushing 625,-€."

His contact details are as follows,
