I too am interested. I’m agnostic with where I have my auto loan and currently have one on my x5 but my bank is offering what seems to be fairly competitive terms plus a 50bp discount as a preferred member (as I have multiple accounts with them).

Just came back from the dealership with my new xDrive50 and got some numbers to share. For a 36 month lease at 10k miles/year, the residual is 53%, the MF is 0.00165 if you ordered the car, 0.0024 if you're buying a car from the lot.

0.0024 sounds like it includes the dealer markup. Their buy rate this month is 0.00200

I ordered an iX 50 in March in Canada and I am expecting to have it delivered in the next week or so. In June my dealer emailed me that some packages have changed and the price of the car is now slightly different and sent me a new quote. The interest rate was 5.3% and now the BMW website lease interest rates are around 7.5%. Is the dealership going to honor the original rate when I placed my order or are they going to present a new estimate based on the new rate? Is there anything my sales rep can do for me as the change in the interest rate makes a pretty big difference in the payments.

Unless you can write off your lease payments for business/tax purposes, leasing has become very unattractive (at 7.5%).
I was always a lease-supporter but if a lease-payment turns out to be HIGHER than financing, it's not for me anymore.

apologies if this is posted elsewhere but does anyone know what the current (Feb 2022) MF and residuals are for both the iX50 and iX M60 in the US?
I've seen the addition of lease cash ($7500) but want to put all of the numbers together. |

https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offer...l-offers-legal That's 36 months / 7,500 miles per year / with a 54% residual. MF comes in around .00234 (or 5.62% APR equivalent) |

The Money Factor you list seems off. Aren't dealers quoting 0.00225 this month? The initial dealer offer is generally with the maximum markup that BMWFS allows so you can figure out the buy rate by subtracting 0.0004.

I've been shopping in earnest for the past month, and the amazing leasing deal they have on the iX50 in US right now was a nice surprise. You can get a lease for under $1,000/month right now, down from ~$1,300 just two weeks ago. Also this leasing deal is the only way to take advantage of the $7,500 tax credit since the car is too expensive to qualify otherwise. It's what motivated me to buy this past weekend! Unfortunately, BMWFS isn't offering the lease credit in every market. That said, the tax savings on a lease alone still makes it the better option in my situation, even with the poor residual.

Can I ask how many months/miles is your lease? Also what city do you live in? We can look up on the BMWFS website to see if the deal is slightly different for you. |

If you go to this link and read the legal language it recommends a $1,870 dealer contribution. (This is specific to my zip code in Los Angeles)
https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offer...l-offers-legal If you show this website to your SA they should try to match with a similar contribution (BTW, it might be a couple hundred dollars difference in the discount depending on your zip code). |
