Atlas Leader (Port Hueneme) roll call

Just heard from my SA that my car is on Atlas Leader ETA Port Hueneme Nov 2. Anybody else here?

Timelime:
4/25 placed order (I was #5 for iX on my dealer list)
6/29 order confirmed, assigned to end of july production
End of july: no change in status, still scheduled for production
9/4: production started
9/15: production completed
9/19: arrived at port
10/2: Atlas Leader departed Bremerhaven

My car has been at port for a week, and I called Genius yesterday and they said no ship has been assigned. Now I am wondering why they didn’t put it on Atlas Leader (for California) on 10/2… maybe they just have too many things backlogged for California.

Has your mybmw garage status changed to ‘In transit’, or still ‘at port’?

It could be that the ship is already full. According to the schedule it's making a bunch of stops at several ports before Port Hueneme, so it's carrying / going to pick up more cars and they need to reserve some space.

There's another ship Guardian Leader that departs on Oct 5. Maybe your car is on that one.

Did your status change to in transit today?

Interesting. Car shipped 3 days back and status still ‘at port’. That gives some hope that mine might be on same boat.

quasar81 I think it's well known that the status tracker lags by 3-4 days when the car is loaded onto a ship. Check with your SA if your car is on the same ship.

Btw, where's your dealer located? Mine is in central CA.

Looks like Atlas Leader has arrived in Cartagena. According to schedule it'll be crossing Panama Canal on Sunday.

Atlas leader is in Mexico right now headed to Long Beach. I’m guessing ETA will change?

My car is currently on atlas leader and waiting for it to get to port hueneme. Where do you look the schedule up? Also does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to get on a truck and to the dealership?

5-10 days. May take the dealer a few days to get the iX ready as they receive multiple cars at once. Your iX has to be inspected and charged >90% prior to delivery. Let your SA know if you want to pick it up asap so he/she can prioritize it.

I think mine will be longer since the dealership I’m picking the car up is in Idaho. So from California to Idaho is like another two days on the truck probably

Exiting times for you guys... Hope you find the vehicle lives up to your expectations - I've had my iX since July (1st Guy in line at my dealership backed out) and while it's nice, I did order an the M60 equipped the way I wanted it.

Hopefully you have no surprises at the Dealership and best of luck with the iX's!!

Heard from my CA (who’s been very reliable) that lately it’s been taking about 1 week for VDC to release the car to trucking. But… he said there been 3-4 days wait for the truck to pick up from VDC.

Really interested and waiting on how many days it will take from Port to dealer.

Mine is on next boat…Altair Leader landing Nov 18. Hoping for dealer to give delivery before end of month when my rate lock expires.
