Crappy Christmas for me too.

Driving back from the parkway there was a huge ass pothole that took out both my right side tires. Now waiting on the tow truck.

I'm at exit 138 at kenilworth. I was on my 19s. Was too lazy to switch. Guess I'll have to put the stocks back on now. At least I had them as a spare and thank god I have safeguard. Maybe they will cover the repair for me.

Damn Wayne!!! I guess that was on South bound GSP, huh? I don't remember there being any potholes on the GSP.

Good luck with everything though. If I was at home, I would have lent you my stockers. I am in AC right now.

Don't worry, Safeguard will cover your wheels and tires. I think the only thing you will have to do is pay for them first and then get reimbursed by Safeguard.

If you're ever by Exit 140 of the GSP and need help in the future (hopefully, you won't), just give me a call and I'll come and help you out.

damn, sorry to hear it man. I saw them patching up that hole while i was heading to work this morning... they stopped all the traffic on the parkway to get this bad boy filled up real quick. Also heard there was a massive hole in the center lane in Clinton on Rt. 78... friend of mine was called into work last night to fill it in asap because cars were blowing tires left and right.

Let me know if you need help with anything

I remember back a few years ago, on the Belt Parkway right by the Flatbush ave exit, there was this HUGE hole in the ground (6" deep, all the way down to the concrete), and everyone..and I mean EVERYONE that hit it, blew out a tire...even SUVs (I saw one H2 sitting on the side of the road, and it had the stock 17s lol)

There were more flatbeds and more tow trucks than you could shake a stick at...all of Broadway Towing was out there lol. For months afterwards, I would see all the hubcabs and stuff lined up on the side of the road from people hitting it. They didnt fill it up til 3 days later...wtf.

When I was talking to the tow truck driver, he said I was the 15th car that night lol. That pothole was on the left lane right at the toll where 78 is going southbound. I could tell a lot of people hit it since when I was stopped on the shoulder a bunch of other cars pulled up behind me to check their tires too. That pothole was friggin massive. It looked like it was a good 2 feet long and 6-8 inches across and it was deep enough to shake my entire car when I hit it. Thank god I didn't screw up my suspension. Anyone know of a tire repair place I can get them checked out at? I'm near New Brunswick right now. I drove home last night to get my stockies and swapped them back on so my rims are in my trunk. Didn't see any major rash on the tire so I wanna see if I can get them patched and put back on or something. Vorsteiner CF hood + stock rims = retarded looking. And I friggin noticed last night I have a big ass quarter sized crack in the hood right near the badge holder in front. CRAAAAPP lol.

Wayne, I think your insurance should cover the damages, minus the deductible of course.

I'm going to call up safeguard tomorrow and see if they'll cover it. Found out both rims are bent so it's not repairable really.
