2024 i4 eDrive35 News: MSport Now Available & New Packages!

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
So, even though the ordering guides are not yet out for the 2024 i4 eDrive35 (I will post them as soon as they are given to me), I can confirm that new options have been added to the 2024 i4 eDrive35!

The 2024 models can be ordered with:
MSport Package
Icon Adaptive LED Headlights with Laserlight

Additionally, there is now a Convenience Package, in addition to the Premium Package.

The new ZCV Convenience Package contains:
Lumbar support
Heated front seats
Iconic Sounds Electric
Wireless Device Charging

The new ZPP Premium Package contains:
Everything from ZCV, plus:
Heated Steering Wheel
BMW Curved Display with HUD

As of now, all I can assume about Ambient Lightning is that it is standard for 2024, but I cannot confirm this yet.

The base pricing has only raised $200, from $52,000 to $52,200.

We helped forum members secure an amazing amount of i4 eDrive35's in the last few months, and I can only imagine the demand will be greater with what is seemingly the full suite of options that was previously only available on the eDrive40.

So what exactly is the difference between e40 and e35?

Less power (286 vs 326) and smaller battery (70.2kWh vs 83.9kWh). This results in lower range as well (483km vs 598km WLTP).

That's excellent news; I personally hadn't even considered the eDrive35 because there wasn't an MSport option, nor was there a Shadowline option to hide the chrome grille and window trim.

The eDrive40 coming stock with black window trim even before adding the MSport package is definitely the better aesthetic choice for an i4, imo.

In the UK the Electric Vehicle (EV) ‘premium’ for the entry-level, no options 5 works out at +47% over the equivalent ICE (internal combustion engine) version. It may well be different in the US, and of course comparisons get difficult because of what is/isn’t packaged-in, but if it’s similar it seems an awful lot given the EV spec.

Bear in mind I’m saying this as the owner of an ICE BMW (M235i Convertible) and an EV (Peugeot e-208 GT) where the EV premium on the latter was only +4.6% on a car in stock and +20% on a factory order.
