i4 M50 ordering Time?

For people placing orders for the i4 M50 version… how long is it taking to get your cars? Back in the preorder days it took a long time. Has BMW got their supply chain issues sorted out? Can I expect to get a car a few months after I order it? I just want to be mentally prepared before I head over to my dealer.

I think it is likely going to vary by location and how quickly your dealership can get an order allocation. Mine took about 8 months. Put my order in Dec 2022, car was delivered end of July 2023.

I agree. I just called my dealer in northern Virginia. He is saying that they have allocations. If I placed an order today I can have the car at the dealer by November / December.

That sounds about like my experience. I should have added my dealership got their allocation in April so it was about 3 months or so after that my car arrived.

Good luck! I've been loving my i4 M50

i would recommend to contact a broker for an i4 m50. Save yourself the trouble of calling dealership to dealership.

Try Next Level Auto Brokers

That oy works if you want something that's already here.

If you to order your car, that might not be the route.

Just got mine after 11 months. Ordered early October 2022. Most dealers were all over the places saying 9-15 months.

I think the i4 M50 is going to much more available now that the i4 xDrive40 is out, a lot of people wanted the M50 simply because it was the only xDrive i4, now that that is not the case, the demand has/will fall. I have several i4 M50 allocations I am selling at a discount.

My i4 M50 arrived in 10 months (I received it a week ago after ordering in late October last year). It actually arrived months earlier than the dealer anticipated so the delays appear to be easing up a bit.

By the way, it was worth the wait. So much fun to drive.
