(US Only) What does the 3y/36k maintenance cover?

So I’m coming up on almost 36k miles and I’m trying to figure out what is covered. So far they haven’t covered anything under the prepaid maintenance. I paid $120 at the dealer to do the stupid wipers.

It should just the brake fluid and vehicle check every 2 years which I’m thinking for EVs since there are no fluid changes, unless I’m missing something? I want to go in and get items “done under free maintenance” but can’t seem to think of any.

Cabin filters are covered when called for. I know there are more things covered, but I can’t think of anything else off the top of my head.

It's unfair that the included 3-year/36,000-mile Ultimate Care includes several useful services for ICE (engine oil, engine filter, brake fluid, engine air filter, spark plugs, and diesel fuel filter) that do not apply to EVs. So basically for EVs, then, Ultimate Care is just cabin air filter, key fob battery, and basic vehicle check. it's unlikely any of us will need our brake fluid replaced during the first 100,000 miles.

They are sure not offering much for the costs of their iX maintenance plans, e.g., why most of us said “hell no” to all three.

It does not make financial sense to buy any of the extended maintenance plans on this vehicle. The guy doing my paperwork and I ran through the numbers and they just did not add up.

They never do. That's why they offer them.

Even more so on EVs - especially considering it’s the same price for each tier across the entire BMW lineup (at least it was in January when I purchased my iX).
