First look at the electric Aptera I had the chance to check out the solar electric Aptera at CES and to with Aptera's co-CEO about it. This 'autocycle' has some outstanding technology. It is a nimble, fast, very comfortable two seater with plenty of storage space. The carbon fiber body and roll bar were designed in concert with Pinifarina. In driving around the streets of Las Vegas for 25 miles, the solar cells generated the equivalent of 29 miles electricity back into the batteries!
