2026 iX LCI Facelift Ordering & Pricing Guides. Trailer hitch now available!

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hey everyone!

The ordering and pricing guides for the 2026 iX have come out, as of now, Feb 1, 2025, dealers do NOT have allocations yet. I suspect they'll get them later this month. At this point in time, there is also no lease program released for this model.

The packages are now more in line with the rest of BMW's models, featuring the Premium & Executive Packages, M Sport, M Sport Pro, etc.

Another piece of big news - You can now order a trailer hitch on an iX!!!

Expect first US deliveries in late April/Early May would be my guess.

As always, if you need help with a custom ordered iX, you can feel free to reach out by emailing me at scott@insightautoconsulting.com

Do I order a July 2025 build or wait for March 2026 production? For some reason I'm super excited about these minor updates but disappointed they didn't offer the option for laminated glass.

These are going to start building late next month of this year.

Agreed, it's about time for a hitch option! Any advice for those of us considering an after-market "Stealth Hitch" installation? Many thanks.

I was excited about the hitch until I read the order guide and realized that it requires M Sport, which means no oyster Sensatec interior on 45 or 60. Only M Sport Black Sensatec/Atlas Grey Microfiber or you have to upgrade to leather. I hate black interiors and I don't want leather

This makes me miss driving my parents first X5! The 2003 X5 4.4i was a beast for its time!

Also, was this pic taken with a 2000s era Blackberry?! 😂

Why does it state 100% under some of the options? Should say STD or NC

One thing it says to me is that you can't leave out the Panoramic Eclipsing Roof on either the 60 or M70. So you would not get $2600 off the MSRP if that's what someone is thinking.

I’m surprised they’re sticking with Sensatec and haven’t upgraded to Sensafin or Veganza. I’ve had all three and Sensafin and Veganza are nice upgrades over Sensatec.

It also appears that the standard seats are the same as the existing, with the short seat bottoms. You only get the longer seat bottoms with the M Multi-Function seats (sensatec atlas grey or leather) part of the M Sport Pkg. Also the wool /microfiber is only with the standard seats, so also no longer available on the M70.

It was the invention of a new class of vehicle with that old clunky BMW feel. BMW made some missteps along the way, but nothing is more comfortable and quick and capable as a new BMW SAV.

I find the Sensafin almost oily to the feel. Almost too “life like” to leather.

Personally I’d like to see a black leather option.

Amido is dark enough for me
Don’t understand sensafin on such an expensive car - I could see it holding up better over time, but leather is always better especially over the term of a lease

No, that would be a bigger architecture change.

NK vehicles will be 800V and the iX5/iX7, using NK battery tech.
