I'm in the process of purchasing a new (as yet registered) pre-facelift i4 eDrive35 equipped with the Tech Pack.

I can't find an answer to whether Driving Assistant Plus (not professional) can be added via ConnectedDrive after the event, or whether other options would have been required to allow for this.

The BMW dealer I'm buying from (Stratstone in the UK) doesn't know the answer, and I've spoken with ConnectedDrive at BMW and they couldn't answer either.

Does anyone know whether the Tech Pack unlocks this option or whether the car needs to have been factory specced with other things to allow for it?

I can tell you that for my tech pack equipped pre lci I have:
- the orange triangles in the mirrors
- adaptive cruise control ( first time I have had this and it’s amazing )
- lane departure warning

I think that’s the standard Driving Assistant package , and there’s nothing upgradable in the CD store
