Brakes..."Disturbed?"
Has anyone gotten this? This is the 3rd time I’ve gotten this in the last 6 months. I just ignore it and it goes away in a few days. Functionally, nothing seems to be wrong. Auto hold works and braking power/regen is normal.
Wondering if anyone actually took it into the dealer to check on this and what they said? I’m out of warranty so if the car runs, I don’t care lol. |

The brakes are disturbed because the tyres and wheels keep fighting each other
![]() Perhaps BMW needs to add a section to the Owners Manual on applying brake therapy to soothe disturbed brakes. |

There are many things that can potentially be ignored safely, but a braking issue is not one of them! Given that your brakes are likely the most important aspect of any vehicle that has to work 100% of the time correctly, please get this seen to asap.
We all know that the brakes are rarely used in our cars, so it’s highly unlikely to be any appreciable wear on expensive items such as rotors; brake pads, etc. |
