I like how they blended gas powered car design with electric.

Power wise it should have gotten close to new electric m3 to showcase what that power plant can really do

I don't know about theirs but in mine, I tried to cover the main ideas: which one should I buy and why?

People don't realize that we had 4-5 hours total to review three cars. It's simply not enough to focus on:

1. Range - because we don't babysit the cars, we try to push them
2. Can't focus too much on comfort since all had air suspension
3. For me, it was raining the whole day so that limited a lot of the exterior things I would film

My goal was to cover as much as possible the driving feel between the three and the seats.

The real tests come when we get the car for a few months. I did tons of cool short videos on the iX M60.

Your reviews are pretty good. They stand out above the rest, as they should since you spend so much time in these cars day in, day out.

Thank you. These first time reviews are also not easy because the time is so limited so you don't have a chance to review it like a customer would. So I find that my second reviews are always better because I know now exactly what to focus one from a customer perspective. Sometimes I even learn from customers who send me feedback on their cars via the website or email, so next time I can test different scenarios.

Back in the day, we had 1-2 full days with a car. Now it's 3 per day sometimes. I just did 3 MINI JCW drive reviews in less than 7 hours. In England. Takes an hour or two just to get used to the left side And by that time you might have scrapped a wheel or two also

Agree hb does the best reviews.

That said, I did appreciate Jason consolidating all of the reviews in one place. I read them all, and while they are similar, they are all very positive about the iX. Not bad for an EV first released in 2022.

There is also another side of this story. Some outlets, like the one that reviewed the iX, might not have an audience that's very car-related. Could be tech, lifestyle, or mainstream news. In that case, they need to stay at a high level with the details. Not everyone is a BMW aficionado and you would lose them.

So I get it why some press reviews car differently.

Most of intake on market is for 330i is it same fitment as 330i they both have same engine but 330e is plug in hybrid.

That's because journalism is dead. Everyone with an internet connection and a blog thinks they are now a (terrible, bad, awful) "journalist" without a formal education in the field. So many articles online that come up in search results are actually written by AI, filling our heads with poorly written narrative.

Soon, our children will be writing nonsense like AIs and with the associated terrible sentence structure and inappropriate use of terms. Too much technology. Too much racing to get to nowhere. Too much shifting of priorities. Too little time to actually do anything properly.
