X4 owners still exist ?

Wife took her '22 X3 for routine service, and long story short, now has a ICE X4 being built. She thought the 2025 X3 had lost some styling and looked more like a brick. Didn't want a flat panel dash. Even knowing that this is the end of the line for the non-electric X4 didn't matter.

Looking in the forums, it seems like any prior X4 comments were scrubbed (conspiracy theory...lol) - or, was this model a relative 'rarity'? Too niche?

I think I saw an X4 on the road the other day, so surely someone owns it?

The masses love traditional boxy SUV's so it's no surprise that a more expensive version of the same vehicle with less cargo space isn't going to be remotely as popular. I do see the odd X4 or X6 but they are pretty rare compared to X3 and X5.

I see them around town now and again, and a colleague with an older 530 is looking at it for his next BMW.

On my X4, I have 156,000+ miles on her and other than normal maintenance (fluids and brakes) I had to replace the radiator and the valve cover, that's it.

we (usually) keep our cars a while, so this is a hopeful note. I'm planning on keeping my M4Comp till they take my keys away, nice to hear of a long lived X4.

I just ordered a new 2025 M40i, I still couldn't stand the new X3 design and no buttons. I wish BMW updated ID7 to ID8, but I like ID7 and it has everything that I need.

Anyone else who has recently ordered 2025? I've been told it won't be produced anymore after November, so I made this call to order.
