Problems setting up digital key and sharing on iPhone

I have noticed several postings on this forum with setup problems of the primary digital key and sharing with another user on iPhone
This is quite unacceptable after having spent over $100k on the ix, we only have one FoB and unable to use any (digital or otherwise) second key!
I see users on this forum trying to figure out what is going on; even the apparent tech-savvy are having problems.
This is outrageous problem and BMW has own up to it; they appear remarkably negligent and cheap in providing one physical FOB - which is the only sure way to lock/use the car; at this price point they are now saying that an additional Fob is going to cost $700… none of this was understood or expected at the time of sale
2 trip with the dealer have not solved anything

What is your problem, exactly? I have never used a fob with my iX with the exception for the day I drove it home. The PaaK works flawlessly for me. And I don't recall chronic issues with others here either.

There are some occasional problems with digital key plus, but hardly (from what I have seen) a widespread and systemic problem. Digital key plus works flawlessly for me 99% of the time.
