Silencing BMW Nav Voice While Listening to Audiobook

I would like to use the BMW nav and listen to an audiobook or YouTube without getting spoken directions. In other words, I would like to cancel the navigation voice and just listen to the program. But when I mute the nav voice, the audiobook or YouTube program is also muted. Is there a way to just mute the nave voice?

not sure about the stock nav. if you have an iPhone, use CarPlay and Waze - then go into Waze settings and turn off the voice prompts. personally, i think Waze is superior to the BMW nav system.
