Bosch relay for remote turn on. Fuse needed?

I forgot I had one of these lying around. I'll be using it to turn on my MS-8. Do I need to add fuses, either near the battery or between it and the MS-8?

I assume I can tap any positive speaker wire for signal?

Thanks.

You definitely will need a fuse between the battery and the relay. There is no such thing as a positive speaker wire because speakers use AC current. You will need a solid ~12 volt wire to engage the relay.

Ugh, so I'm stuck with the remote wire question still? I.e., must I run a wire from pin 13 at the head unit? Or since I have the relay can I used the power wire to the Logic 7 amp?

Thanks for your input.
