Just a heads up that Laser headlights aren't legal in the US and won't be offered. And the only other officially announced options are a "drivers assistance pack" with surround cameras etc, and carbon fiber wheels, which may also be non-DOT approved. I've heard things like adaptive cruise are standard. There's at lot of dealer speculation going around. My dealer only found out last Friday that they were getting one from the regional bmwusa rep that dropped by that morning.

Of the i8's I've seen at the IAA the white one is the best and most fresh looking colour IMO.
Furthermore a great car (for a hybrid). It could use wider wheels visual wise, although it's not as good for fuel/energy consumption. |

There are blue rings around the freaking bmw logos. You guys know that that's what toyota does with their emblem to signify hybrid right?
